Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches for Determination of Hemolyzed Serum
Abstract Background and Objective: Prevention of medical laboratory errors is a major goal of quality control programs. Hemolyzed specimen is one of the common issues causing medical laboratory errors. Apart from the visual assessment, the measurement of serum hemoglobin concentration can be another method to evaluate the intensity of hemolysis. We aimed to assess hemolyzed serum s...
متن کاملQuantitative Approaches to Metonymy
Introduction Recent years have witnessed an upsurge of interest in metonymy. From cognitive to computational linguistics, researchers have finally realized that metonymy is ubiquitous in everyday language and that it constitutes an important focus of research. In cognitive linguistics, this has given rise to detailed studies of metonymy as a cognitive phenomenon (Kövecses and Radden, 1998; Peir...

متن کاملPhotoluminescence quantitative analysis of Gallic acid and Caffeine in green tea using multi-way chemometric approaches
Green tea is considered as a dietary source of antioxidant nutrients, which acts upon human health. Green tea leaves contain three main components in the form of simple hydroxy benzoic acids such as gallic acid, propyl gallate and xanthic bases (caffeine), have been reported to prevent or delay a number of degenerative diseases and act mainly upon the central nervous system and stimulating wake...
متن کاملText Mining : Approaches and Applications
The field of text mining seeks to extract useful information from unstructured textual data through the identification and exploration of interesting patterns. The techniques employed usually do not involve deep linguistic analysis or parsing, but rely on simple “bag-of-words” text representations based on vector space. Several approaches to the identification of patterns are discussed, includi...
